Spring/Summer 2018 Jewellery Trends

 "This season, jewellery goes bold with earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings making a big statement. The look is very much focused on taking one or more key pieces of jewellery and allowing it the opportunity to be the absolute feature detail of your outfit. The majority of catwalk trends tend to get watered down so what we see on the runways is our inspiration but in reality, what we choose to translate into our jewellery boxes and wardrobe is often only a very hint.

Chanel showcased beautifully the dramatic impact of wearing longer length necklaces coupled with big statement earrings both complimenting each other with stunning effect. Our Blenheim Tassel necklace and earrings echo this same sentiment, allowing for a dramatic interpretation of this season's big jewellery story. This tactile theme looks and feels beautiful to wear and works well with lace and delicate silk fabrics.

PEARLS ARE ALWAYS APPROPRIATE

Subtle hints of pearls were seen at Alexander McQueen, showcased delicately in all their beauty. Pearls are a definite favourite of mine, and our Badminton Collection celebrates this classic jewellery story with a strong contemporary equestrian twist. By wearing our pearl earrings, necklace and bracelet together you instantly have a beautifully bold look that works so well for this season but one that is equally as easy to strip down into individual pieces to wear as solo accessories without losing impact.
